Eurasian Spoonbill

What a lovely sight! A very unusual bird, but a rather beautiful one, this Spoonbill is in his breeding colours and looking very smart with that tan collar and plumes on his head. I always get so excited to see birds that have chosen to stop off in Oman, either for a 'holiday' or a quick restful stopover! Yes, the Kingfisher turned up again and was again very obliging. Miles is so enjoying working on the radio, I was very lucky to be invited into the studios to see Miles 'On Air' and a tour around. All very interesting.
