Completely cuckoo

A bit of a mixed day today. It all started with an appointment at the family doctor for Inge. Nothing serious it seems, but Inge is experiencing some discomfort and she was a bit worried. As has been the case lately, a busy working day followed. After that, Ellis practiced on the violin. When she came running down the stairs, I was afraid she got frustrated but it turned out to be the opposite. She was very happy with herself because she mastered a song that she really likes and she now gets to play Saturday in front of the other children of the orchestra. She was very excited and when I wanted to take a picture of her happiness she gave me this pose.

After that excitement I went to a meeting with the home owners in our street about the work that needs to be done to make our houses 'earthquake proof'. The proposal that is on the table now is unacceptable for all of us, so we discussed alternative options. A very useful meeting and it's good to know that we're all on the same page...
