Interview treat!

Had another stand-out interview for my project at the Galson Trust, this time with a lovely lady called Mary. Mary is 95 and her daughter, who was a teacher of mine is school, had suggested to me that I go and speak to her mum. Although Mary is mostly blind her memories and stories are fantastically clear, and she has a wonderful sense of humour! She had prepared the fine china for me to make us some tea after our "official bit" was over and we then sat and had a ceilidh for a further 45 minutes (maybe more as I wasn't clock watching!) Bliss! She had also prepared two digestive biscuits with cream cheese, a typical island granny treat! A truly lovely encounter! Thank you, Mary!
