Flutterby

I couldn't believe how many small tortoiseshell butterflies were on campus today! I counted over 20 on this bush alone. I saw them when I walked home last night and I was so sad I didn't have a camera on me, so I was relieved to see them there again today.

They were very intent on feeding and didn't mind one bit when I shoved my camera in their faces. They're very tolerant creatures!
