Day off

I love these calm Hebridean early mornings. Day off today so I have checked the lambs, fed the sheep and other animals, made bread, making soup, made and eaten a full breakfast, emptied the dishwasher, put on a load of washing, and it's only 08.30. Now to sit with a cup of coffee and review a book proposal. Working at UHI gives me a quality of life that I would get in very few other places.
