Churche's Mansion

One of Nantwich's best tudor buildings (currently up for sale - in the past, it's been a restaurant and an antique dealers as well as a residence) with some fantastic carved and gilded details. The face is a likeness of merchant Richard Churche, for whom the mansion was built in 1577. [Wikipedia article]

Dad moved in to Clarendon Court today. Has a TV and an armchair adjusted to his height. Bright room on first floor looking south across main road. Thankfully, doesn't seem to be baulking at the cost. I'm staying a few days more to make sure he's settling in.
