kiwi fruit

I love the hairy softness of the new shoots on the kiwi fruit. It's really taken off this year and has runners well over 10 feet long already. Not sure if it will bear fruit - we've had it for about 4 years and it hasn't yet. Maybe our weather isn't quite right.

A lovely sunny day today - I managed to get stuff done in the garden before it got too hot!
