Tramway ruins

Today we had a walk in the Ceiriog Valley, it was lovely to see the wild flowers and hear the birds singing.

The photo is one of the ruined buildings along the Glyn Valley Tramway. Granite and slate used to be mined here and there was a steam narrow gauge railway to take it (and passengers) to the main line.Conservation volunteers are working on the tramway but haven't got as far as this. The tramway is now a walking route.
