Stiftstrasse in spring

Tonight I drove down the street I lived on for my first three years in NRW. I'll always be grateful for landing, quite unexpectedly, on this little lane, lined with cherry blossoms. Coming to Germany was really tough, but ultimately finding a home graced with these beautiful trees that are also a hallmark of my beloved Washington DC was a truly a blessing and literally put us on the road to recovery.
