The last eight days have been hectic dealing with family matters and visits south to see my elderly parents followed by visits from daughter A and her children.   Then our feet seemed to hardly hit the ground as we explored many of the attractions in Edinburgh but in comparison today has been quite relaxing.   After church we went to the Botanic Gardens where I had wanted to take a photo of the Yoshinu cherry tree which was in bud on my last visit but unfortunately today it was past its best with most of the blossom blowing off in the wind.  I was going to crop the lamp post off but, as with yesterday’s photo, I thought perhaps it added to the picture.
