White-throated Sparrow

This sparrow knocked himself silly on one of our windows today. I heard the BANG and went to look and he was sitting on the porch floor looking stunned. So I picked him up and held him for a while. Eventually he was able to stand up in my hand, and then after a while I transferred him to a shrub. Being able to hold on and perch properly seemed like a good sign. When I came out a bit later he was still sitting there, but as I approached he flew to a different branch, and then another, and then he flew away. So, I guess he's okay! He might have a bit of a headache though.
