Fishing for their supper

It's been a gloriously warm and sunny weekend.  Today Steve Oldfield and I headed over to the Grand Union Canal/River Gade at Hunton Bridge. We took a leisurely walk along the tow path, through Cassiobury Park, stopping for an ice cream, and then on to Croxley Park before heading back and home. There were a lot of narrow boats and barges on the canal today making the most of the weather, so these, and several other fisherman, probably didn't get the peace and quiet they were probably hoping for (it may not have been a fish supper for their tea tonight after all)! No cameras today so this is a quick iPhone shot.

We came cross this rather unusual conversion of a narrow boat - a 'blue submarine'! Extra added. Who would want to live in this I don't know as there were no windows in the sides and must have been very dark and gloomy inside!

Good company, relaxing with a glass of wine and dinner in Prezzo in Mill Hill was all that was needed to end a perfect day :-)
