Thatched Cottages, Histon, Cambs.

These thatched cottages facing Histon Village Green, are Grade 2 listed and built in the 1600's. Master thatchers have their own traditional design of thatch and symbols. This rooftop is similar to the design on the cottage not too far away, that I blipped on 19th July, complete with the birds on the summit, which look like pheasants.
