With Andrew having to go to work, there was no time to do any exploring on Sunday unfortunately. I found that DVO was organising a race fairly near Nottingham, so went along for a bit of hillside, brambly fun. I managed to put my thumb down on a chestnut, leaving about 10 spines in it.
The long drive back up then commenced, I decided to opt for the marginally slower, but much more fun A68 from Newcastle to Edinburgh. This ewe and the timid lambs were just asking to be blipped
