Another local history blip...

... this time some shops in Station Parade in Harrogate, photographed in 1950. 

In the intervening 60+ years, the old building have virtually disappeared to be replaced in the 1990s by the Victoria Shopping Centre. 

Even the building on the extreme right of the picture appears to have been re-built with one fewer storey. Though I was living here at that time, I cannot remember the re-building.
