Antiques Roadshow

Went to the Antiques Roadshow recording at Chatham Historic Dockyard today. I'm sorting out my mother's loft and found a 1913 Mappin & Webb leather vanity case that belonged to mum's grandmother so we took it along. Saw Mark Hill - he was very enthusiastic about it (almost never seen one with an intact note book in before) but said that it would either sell for a few hundred or not at all! Bit of a fashion thing apparently. Suggested that it should stay in the family. Pol would so love to have it, she's heavily into vintage and retro. Need to work on mum...
