Stockly Bridge

Had a walk up to Stockly Bridge with the dogs, (far enough for Rip) we set off early as we knew it was Easter holidays. Got parked easily before 10am but would not wanted to have been any later.
By the time we turned round to walk back they were coming up in droves.

One chap asked hubby, "can you tell me the way to the top"
hubby: "Top of what"
chap:  "The highest"
hubby: "Do you mean Scafell"
chap: "yes"
Hubby started to give directions
chap: "Is it signposted"
We just wonder where he is now!!!

Saw another family going on past the bridge bloke in bare feet, young lady in strappy sandals children carrying lovely little Easter baskets, but no jackets. Hope they had a lovely time!!!!
