A field of Cowslips

We were lucky to have another warm sunny day for our trip out to Weston with the local bird group.  We didn't walk very far but the views when we came out of the woods were spectacular.  I have included one as an extra. We were fairly high up and looking down on Weston Mouth beach but in the distance you can just make out the coastline towards Exmouth and Torquay.

Many different bird species were seen including a Swift, Yellowhammer, Buzzards, Chiffchaff, Bullfinches and Ravens.  At one point as we walked along the South West Coast Path we came across a field full of Cowslips and Dandelions.  An enjoyable morning out and a great outing for my husbands new binoculars.
