The Pond

Its a discarded bottle, by the side of a Marl Pit, in a wooded area on the outskirts of Altrincham.
To be honest, I staged it so.
I have been studying a book by Henry Carroll and came upon an image by John Gossage from his series "The Pond" (1995 - you can look it up),  which inspired me to try and emulate his image.
Lessons in Depth of field vs Point of Focus and how it pulls an image together within the landscape.
I don't think I've quite pulled it off.
Perhaps if the bottle were smaller in the image…….
