Cubs Raise The Banner

Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs had their home opener this evening at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs won The World Series last year for the first time in 108 years. 
Prior to the start of the game the World Series Championship banner was raised over the stadium

Mrs. ATB is from the Chicago area so it was a very special moment for her.

In this screen cap you can see a few of the extremely excited fans some of whom were holding their snappy homemade signs.

On Thur. this week we have tickets to attend the Myrtle Beach Pelicans baseball game near the beach.
The Pelicans are a minor league team and Cubs affiliate.
It's also Dollar Beer Night. :-)
