Handsome Piece of Timber

Today I have been mostly indoors writing an assignment for my OU course.   Weather is decidedly chilly after the wonderful sunshine of the last few days.   Did drop P and G at the station this evening and stopped to photo this lovely piece of wood next to my neighbors shed.  He is a tree surgeon and has a large wood pile for burning, however it is clear that this is destined for a more significant after life.
