View from High Peak

We were on a circular walk with the walking group today.  It was a very varied walk starting inland and then partway along the South West Coastal Footpath taking in the highest point in this area, High Peak. Some of us climbed to the very top where there are great views towards Sidmouth and Branscombe, see blip.

Then it was inland and a climb up Mutters Moor before descending down to the River Otter and heading back across fields and passing the edge of Bicton Park.  A much sunnier day than expected and an enjoyable walk.  A bit longer than the suggested 9.5 miles though.
