for Brassicas

Flushed with enthusiasm following success with autumn planted cauliflowers one has now moved on to thoughts of this years crop.  Here are the seedlings of summer cauliflower and purple sprouting broccoli.

They are presently just put outside to get hardened off and in about a weeks time they will be planted out.

Then the serious work begins against the ravages of cabbage root fly, caterpillars, club root, slugs and rabbits - you name it, we have it!

Happily however, one shortly hopes to be able to reveal the secret weapon against rabbits....
