Pear blooms

The decorative pear tree is in full bloom, a veil of white loveliness.
In a different matter, the midschool had a track meet at home today, in a horrendous downpour. By the time I got there, the rain had eased up a little, but everything and every participant was soaking wet. The kids were all shivering in their running outfits.I left before the meet was over. My hands were all numb from cold, although I had rain gear and warm clothes on.
Gage and Jax ran in several events, I don't know their times or placements. Hope they thaw out overnight : )
