Poplars

My entry for Abstract Thursday - ICM (in camera movement) - this is a line of poplars along our road.

The weather is extreme.....
Cyclone Cook is about to hit the east coast up near Tauranga, and is tracking south and east.  ETA here is around 8 or 9 am in the morning. The authorities throughout NZ are advising not to travel as there are many slips, gale winds, cats & dog rain, flooding and if by the coast 5 metre waves which are expected to flood houses near to the shore. Flights are cancelled and many a Easter holiday has been abandoned.

We have had lots of rain, its dry here at the moment but looking heavy and rain is imminent with only light winds....tomorrow will be a different story it seems.

Book club tonight - loved the book, we will have a good discussion I think.

I've been very blip absent over the last few days, just other things have been taking up my time. Made Zucchini and Pineapple chutney this morning, taste delish !!
