Gold Lace

Another chilly, breezy day but we did have some brief lovely bright spells too.

We have dozens of sparrows regularly in the garden and their mission in life seems to be to devour the leaves and the yellow flowers off the primulas.  Some very tatty specimens in evidence, but for some reason the birds seem to leave this variety alone, which I'm pleased about because it is such a nice cheery one.

Poor afternoon in the shop, hardly anyone about, and the ones who did come in were mainly looking for shelter and warmth!!
