Speckled Wood

I've been AWOL for a while for which I make no excuses.

I visit a patch of damp meadow in the park this time of year as you can always guarantee late summer butterflies nectaring on the fleabane, spearmint and devils bit scabious. I am a big fan of close up wide angle macro and my little XZ-1 does a brilliant job without any unecessary disturbance of my subject. The map location thingy is probably spot on to within 10mtrs.
