Protection from gulls

Took the bus into Dartmouth today for the local U3A Open Morning. Apart from parking spaces being few and far between in the town, especially in tourist season, if you take your car you can guarantee you will need to wash it when you arrive home again. Even spikes are no protection against parcels dropped from the sky.

Seemed appropriate to have a play on Photoshop today and show off some of what I've learned in the past few weeks of attending the U3A Digipix group.

We decided to round off the morning with lunch including (non-driving bonus) an alcoholic beverage, at the fabulous seafood restaurant Rockfish. I love it there - brilliant cuisine, excellent service and, best of all, they play the shipping forecast in the loos.

Today would have been my father's 99th birthday! He'd have chuckled at this image.

PS Thanks again for all the lovely comments on my yesterblip.
