Heron Landing

 I think this is the Tricoloured Heron.

I have another 400 images to look through but this one immediately grabbed my attention as I don't think I've  shot one in flight before.  Didn't  realise they had so much white plumage which is usually hidden.

Had to use a shutter speed of 1/4000 sec to get it sharp and there was a little bit of panning judging by the blurred branches of the tree it was landing on.
