Marguerite daisy

Marguerite daisies always make me think of my absolute favourite Italian song, Margherita by Riccardo Cocciante. It's the ultimate love song, a song where a young men sings his heart out about being with the young woman he is so in love with. Unfortunately a Dutch singer took the song and made it famous in Holland with a totally different text, a bad break-up instead of a beautiful beginning. How weird is that !
