Windflowers

A blast of colour on a fairly grey and breezy day.
I bought a bunch of these anemones when I was in Glasgow yesterday. A little bit of research tells me the name Anemos is Greek for wind hence they are known as wind flowers. Felt very appropriate today. I love the centres of these flowers.  Reminds me of an embroidered button.
