Lovely jaunt to Dundee today, bacon rolls and coffee in the cafe and nosey at the Leonardo Drawings ....Dundee is their only Scottish stop.


We saw a lot of the Da Vinci drawings when they were at the V&A a few years back, mostly I remember the sheer "vandalism" of some of them....Victorian (and possibly earlier) curators were seemingly mostly concerned with marking possession, many of the drawing have inky date stamps, some of the pictures even had bits cut out of them.
