Early purple orchid

A glutton for punishment, I joined my walking group today on a 9.5 mile quite strenuous walk in the Devon countryside. We were only a small group of 7 and tales were being exchanged of recent holidays in New Zealand, Japan and ours to Costa Rica. There was plenty of mud and a cool wind. I believe this is an early Purple orchid.
