Highland Hero or Villian?

My electrical work journeys took me to the shores of Loch Voil and Balquhidder this morning which meant I drove past the grave of soldier, businessman, cattle-rustler and outlaw Rob Rob MacGregor - to who for some is a Hero but to others is a Villian.

The Scottish folk-lore legend spent most of his days in the beautiful Trossachs area of the country with his family and cattle but he was also not afraid to become involved in the political mess that was building in the country at that time.

Rob Roy's life was so varied and interesting that many a Hollywood film has tried to characterise him.

Today tourists from far and wide are drawn to the Callander and Trossachs area as one of Scotland's famous legends still lives strong.
