Tickety split!

Off to Bedford for the day on Tuesday for a meeting with folks from work and while it's only a 55 minute train ride guess how much an anytime return is? 

£69!

Ticket splitting website to the rescue and got it down to a more reasonable £40, so I cycled down to the station this morning to buy them from a real person. However, that's still a fair amount for an hour on the train considering it's £30 for an hour and a half on the train to Brum or £9 for half an hour on the train to Nottingham.
