Down to Anstruther for the great Yellae Deuks spectacular. And what a fine afternoon - a couple of beers, while pressed into the Ship, then along to the wee chippy to wait in line for our personal fish to be served up. And sitting eating it perched on rocks on the beach looking across to Berwick Law and the Bass Rock. Some seagulls eyed us hungrily and warily but only an old duck had the temerity to come over and take the occasional chip off the toe of my boot. I didn't want its chip getting sandy, y'see.
So! The gig. And a wee cracker in the Dreel Halls. First up, a puppet show! And then the man - here he is in the first set with geeko. We then had Des & Wayne (who they?) and finally the four all together for some extended electronica during which the hall emptied of kids and mums and dads, leaving only the hardcore and an occasional pensioner with a dram. And then it ended with a wonderful selection of songs from Grease done to a hypnobeat, pop pickers. Back through the deserted streets to scoff some Easter chocolates.
