teachers meeting....

School closed yesterday for Easter holidays which are a month here - we have 3 terms in a year with a month in between each one!  The terms are long both for kids and teachers and there is no mid term break!  These are the three teachers I am working with.  The one in the middle is our volunteer from USA and she will be leaving in July, so I hope that by that time the other two will have learned a lot from her!

We had an evaluation meeting of the term - it was interesting and the teachers want to go back to rote learning because the parents want them too.  They have agreed to continue with the play method for another term and then make a decision!!
