Ireland, Day 1. Glenarm Marina.

Itchy feet having struck once more, we find ourselves now in Ireland - having arrived off the 2 am ferry. We slept the night in a car park not far from Larne then moved a short way up the coast to Glenarm, with the intention of having a very quiet and sleepy day to recover.

A car park adjacent to the Glenarm Marina provided us with a good place to stay overnight.

We enjoyed Glenarm, which has some beautiful Georgian houses in the older part of the village.  The local forest provided a grand place to exercise Nell.

There is a silversmith in the village, renowned it seems for the work that they have done for the Game of Thrones TV series.
