Ancient Volcanoes...

.......seen from the top of Gullane Hill this morning while I was up there for the early Easter Sunday Service which was beautiful.
It struck me that these ancient volcanic plugs viewed like this probably met the WBC of Isolated Objects criteria pretty well. Each stands alone but they are linked in a line which stretches over miles. The island to the left is Craigleith and is apparently a Laccolith or Lava Dome while The Bass Rock and Berwick Law are volcanic plugs.
A wonderful view and reminder and God's great world on this Easter Day.
