Two for One!

Today was a day for getting together. 

Firstly, a quick catch-up with not one, but two (and a half?) blippers who were in D.C. for a short visit. (Kd, right, and tlde, left; the 'half' would be Kd's husband who's an occasional blipper himself). A quick drive downtown while the osso buco for our Easter dinner was simmering, et voilà: an express blipmeet!  It was lovely to be able to put a real person to the name of someone you'd been interacting with for several years and to gain a new friend. And guess what: they were just as nice in person as they are online :)

Then, the Easter ritual dinner at our new place (finally got to use our dining room for the first time) with kids and their friends (extra). Full tummies and lots of laughing over a game of Cranium (I suck at mimicking famous people...).

Good day overall; it's left me with a real and virtual smile!
