Down but not Defeated...

Margaret, granddaughter Emily and I walked the downtown Taylor River paths this morning.. it was a very soggy walk in some parts. Patches of gardens planted with annuals and cottage flowers in some places along our walk had been flattened by the recent floodwaters. However some Cosmos flowers were still bravely flowering as they lay in their muddy beds. Hopefully it will not take too long for the flood-damaged areas to recover.
