Halfway round a long run

I was persuaded today to go out for a "decent length" of run. As the forecast wasn't great for walking, I thought a run would keep the fitness in. We set off from Nichol end Marina, ran through Portinscale, Keswick, round hope park to Strandshag bay, round to Great Wood, up to Ashness Bridge, on to Watendlath (where this pic of the tarn was taken, up the Rosthwaite path, down to Rosthwaite, and back via Grange, manesty, High and Low Brandlehow.

A wonderful day out, and our various distance measurers put the run between 17.5 and 18.5 miles. and almost 2000 feet of "ups" (although we did walk some of the ups)

Officially knackered.
