Ireland, Day 19 Carlingford: The Gratitude Bench

Still in the Republic, but only just. Overnight at the so-called Aires at Carlingford Marina.

Amazing views of the Mourne Mountains across the water, looking spectacular as the cloud and rain drift across the landscape with intermittent sunshine providing rainbows and light relief.

The Marina sports an Indian Restaurant, where we had the best Indian meal that we have had in man years.

Fell completely in love with the village, where I took a good few photographs. There is a very Continental atmosphere to the place with many places to eat and drink and with tables outside.

Lots of colourful buildings and interesting details. This bench particularly appealed to me.

My kind of seaside. I want to return in the future.
