Lochranza

I fell instantly for Lochranza. The camp site is quiet and informal, set by the river and surrounded by hills, with Golden Eagles atop and wild red deer roaming about the site... all this plus a distillery over the road and a ruined castle in the village. I wanted never to leave!

We took a walk around the village, climbed the waterfall path alongside the tor, bought whisky... the distillery did not score well in The Great Scone Survey though.
