Ruby at rest

Ruby, the American Red Squirrel is at rest, but 30,000 folks of all ages and sizes have propelled their racing chairs, run or are still running Boston Marathon course in Boston today. A very special friend( photo link thanks DDW) is one of the thousands. T and I will get to hug her in person along with her husband and the Blond Lab Bombshells later this week when we meet them at DDW & Mr. W's new digs in Boston. DDW & Mr. W need extra hugs I think.

The Boston Marathon Day always brings back so many wonderful memories but also ones of horror and sadness remembering the bombings of 2013. Boston Strong


For the Record,
This day came in sunny and warm, too warm for runners. Clouds and cooler temps are moving in now, the lovely weather is going a bit down hill I'm afraid.

All hands grateful that this Marathon has been uneventful.

Paula has already finished, and is back with us, soaking in the tub right now!  She did it in 3 hours, 41 minutes and 16 seconds!
