Walking to church

This morning we went for a walk to a St. Albans Nature reserve and along  the path by the river. We saw this group of walkers coming the other way and were a bit concerned as to the reaction of the cows with their calves in the field, especially as they had dogs with them. Luckily for them, the cows just moved away from them across the river. We got talking and they were walking from their church to a service in the cathedral. They were quite happy for me to blip them and my son took some photos for them.

We drove back later and the motorways were really quiet. The traffic going south was in a big jam so we were glad that we were going the other way!
