TinyTuesday 99: Tiny Warrior

A Great Drama played out in the yard this morning. As I watched, with my camera at the ready of course, this battle-scared male Green Anole hunted down and attacked a male Brown Anole. He stalked his prey across a wide walkway and through the shrubs until he was able to make good his attack. The Green leapt on top of the brown anole and they tussled and fell together to the ground where the the vanquished made good his escape. Try as I might, I was unable to capture any of the brief battle. :( Maybe next time.
In the *extra* you can see the soon to be vanquished Brown with the victorious Green in the background. Territory must be defended!
