I've been watching the magpies seemingly guarding their nest over the last few weeks, and now it seems they've moved back in creating an extension and completing some home improvements.
From the bedroom window I took several pictures but dropped really lucky to catch it just departing.
Last year I kept an eye on several blackbirds' and sparrows' nests whi.st feeding jackdaws magpies and crows. Overall it seemed to work well and I will just have to be vigilant.
