While waiting on Hole #6,
For a chance to hit on the green.
I caught a rare [for me] glimpse of this little Horned toad.
Man, he was running fast,
Didn’t know those little legs had it in ‘em.

Actually he’s a lizard, not a toad.
Go figure the name.

After hibernating all wnter,
I imagine he’s ready for the 95F heat.

Don’t be put off by his dragon-like appearance.
You’ll find him quite docile.
Except, for that one little thing.
If riled, he can shoot blood from his eyes.
Yikes.
