Bake your own...

....if you want to lick out the bowls & whisks!

Friday morning baked the cake, picked the raspberrys in the garden in the afternoon and sometime after midnight (wide awake after last nights beer or two) finished it off.

Topping seemed a bit soft - difficult to smooth in particular the sides however maybe after a night in the fridge it will be harder. Maybe it was due to the homemade raspberry liquer which slipped in but was not foreseen in the recipe.

Had to taste it first - 10 points for cake itself, very light & fluffy. Filling 6, a little bit more sugar would not have hurt.
Critic points: No raspberries left over to decorate. Uneven cake layers as I planned to only have one filling but then seeing there was so much still in the bowl had to cut one half in half again.
